GLOBAL LUXURY

The elaboration of fabric in one look!

Go with glamourous, luxury, and ethnic influence!

Color that comes with the style are deep color such as Maroon, Black, Dark Purple, Touch of Orange and Violet to create modern style!

Ultra glamour is the key!

In contrast, fabric used are tend to have light element such as silk, synthetic with ultra shiny! Vinyl or Plastic includes in the options.

ARCHITECTURE

Touch of architectures in modernity, silhouette and pattern technic!

With preppy, androgyny and flowing silhouette combines with basic color like black, silver and white to creates the Cool Chick style. In addition to it, Earthy color such as Khaki and Creme could be also the bomb!

High shiny material such as Tafeta silk as well Wool are dueling with Origami details.

Safari wild west, groomed sportswear, north africa, colonial India, Hollywood Western, adventurous look with boldly sporty feature, playful fancy aspect, exotic!

Wear some clothes that have highly shiny Nappa, dull Velour (velvet like), cotton with used effect (washed out), silk with shimmer! and the touch of beige, olive, ochre, white!

Eden & Earth / Priyo Oktaviano Spring Summer 2010

I am quite pleased and proud saying in this year Jakarta Fashion Week, I was trusted to help several designers for their collection presentation. Priyo Oktaviano is one of them, and when he presented his idea of his collection this time, i can sure to be very excited working on it.

The basic concept is taken from Book of Genesis about the expulsion of Adam and Eve. Priyo was inspired by two sides of human being, the good and the evil. He divides his collection into Eden, the basic of good and innocent side of human, and Earth, the basic of bad and dark side of human.

As soon as I heard the basic ideas, Michelangelo Buonnarroti’s painting of “The Fall” and “The Expulsion from Paradise” were popped out and became my basic concept of it. I was also added an apple in every single frame of the picture to symbolized the condition before and after the expulsion, Eden is accesorized with an unbitten apple, and Earth with a bitten apple. The material was originated from India and accentuated with real bird’s feather and fur for Eden’s collection, while metal accessories and ostrich feathers accentuated the Earth’s collection. Since the concept needs a strong digital imaging works, then Bona Soetirto is my perfect photographer. The show itself was thrilling and fabulous, enjoy! November 2009 ~ The Lost Episode

I am on a break for the time being due to my 1 year study… unfortunately there is no bloody spare time to have my precious “Swirlz’Art”..

I am sad.. yet I need to focus one thing at a time, which I believe its the best and wise thing to do. I am sure.. within a year.. Swirlz’Art will grow eventually along with my ultimatum ideas X)

Can’t wait!

Swirlz’Art will be on hold but not stop…. hopefully!

3rd Monthyversary and I don’t have anything to say…

This week is the commencement of school.. sadly say, I have to focus on it. Due to time and energy that I have so little and things that have been already confusing, I will start the new collection by the time I have time :P…. and hopefully new design will have a new depth and more sophisticated. Some of the old collections are available and I am planning to re-produce it. For special order, I really hope I could fulfill it but with certain conditions.

It has been three months since the launching, with twenty (more less) designs have had collected so far.

The Swirlz’ Art design is mostly made exclusively thus one design is produced for one item. By all means, I don’t made for stock! However, customized orders for similar design are most welcome and will be treated as special order.

What material that Swirlz’ Art used? Can customer use their own material?

Wire used is copper (Cu) wire for jewelry (Artistic Wire) and copper wire for electricity purposes. Copper is coated with email to prevent it from getting tarnish. I am still trying to find out what this email exactly is and what it does.
Special demand for certain wire like K10, K14, K18 Gold, Gold filled and Sterling silver is available.
If you would like to use your own material, my pleasure! as long as it is “swirlzable” ;).
Gemstone used is natural and synthetic gemstones like Jasper, Agate, Druzy, Pearl or Zircon and so on. Nevertheless, buyer is my KING!

How the customer’s order is handled?
All orders will be handled within 3 working days on first-come-first-serve basis. Due the handmade production, please consider for the lack of equality… and please please be patience.

How about the production time?

The production lead time takes at least 5 to 7 working days depends on the complexity of the design.
Working day: Monday to Friday. But sometimes, I could make some spare time during the weekend :).

“Fabulously Damaged Necklace”

Swirlz’ Art design was solidly reflected here, the cage pendant with complexity swirls on each of every gemstone. The rusty effect from tarnished wire created an antique look. Using green cabochon with messy wrapping mixed techniques of coiling and weaving, I wanted to make the necklace with asymmetric design. The gold matte copper produces the luxurious touch.

The length of 40-ish cm on the neckline this necklace falls beautifully below the neckline. You could simply wear something like an off white or pearl silky dress to have the glaring unique jewelry.

Hours invested to create a cage-framed cabochon were like 3 to 6 hours, one cage-framed cabochon was connected one by one, and the idea of this design was literally messy and asymmetric, yet still look fabulous to the wearer.

As in Batik pattern, Barong is referred to the mighty and usually resemblance of the luxury. This pendant glamorously sparks with deep purple and siam red teardrops necklace, creating the bold and beauty combination.

The Barong pendant will look tremendously gorgeous with soft loose chiffon silk dress or could be a deadliest breath taking look with heavy flow long coat dress!

The design of the Barong Pendant is one of the Monarchy Design collections. The collection inspired by the royal heritage of Batik.

Monarchy Design
“The Royal Spade”

The Monarchy Design is the inspiration of the royal heritage pattern as in Victorian and Batik, delicately swirled with tremendous patience creating the elegant of Monarch style. Gemstone was framed with gold matte wire, producing the luxurious beauty of the wearer. The biggest challenge is to create an equal size of the curve and distance between middle frame and the curve frame.

The name of The Royal Spade is self explanatory. As the shape of spade this necklace will perfectly match with various necklines. I combined here with round neckline of soft pink gemstone and gold spacer to match the wire.

Wearable for evening occasion like cocktail party or wedding mixed with black or golden brown color dress… or when you want to feel like a Queen :D!

Hours invested 6 for cage frame and around one hour for each curve.

“Happy 2^nd Monthyverssary…!!!”

Since June 30^th 2009, Swirlz’ Art have grown within time and moments. In the first month, I have been starting to re-train my brain a lot about selling and marketing as well other business thingy which I have blindly known, then during the second month more things happened and learned. However, the second month was quiet a downfall, not literally but personally. Strangely enough, the downfall was actually something to grow up to for Swirlz’ Art and myself. As a result, the quality of my creativity, ideas and soul have grown and elevated along with it.

This is likely the first design that was actually reflecting how things flow so far.
The idea of it has been developed within one month due to lack of materials and frankly speaking, mood and creativity soul. The inspiration behind the idea is nothing but just another thing to do to release the energy, absurd? Quiet a bit!

Anyway, this Two Months Anniversary is creating the new inspiration, new idea, new soul that have well wrapped in one fabulous slogan which is resembling the true, the ultimate and the powerful image; Fabulously Damaged!
